MG Car Workshop
I have a fully equipped workshop which enables me to undertake all aspects of high end service work, modification, repair and restoration. I also benefit from direct links to a top end engineering facility and bespoke paint shop.
I specialise in full engine rebuilds for all MG models, ranging from the TA and TC to the TF, E Type, Midget, MGC and MGB. All my work is carried out to the highest of standards and benefits from the personal touch of an MG enthusiast who is dedicated to the quality of his work.
My services include:
- Axle rebuilds
- Chassis rebuilds
- Brake overhauls
- Suspension upgrades and modifications
- Engine rebuilds and enhancement
- Engine dyno testing and running
- Full restoration
- Carburettor rebuilds
- Specialist parts suppliers
There are five bays to the front of the workshop, with four more working bays and ramps to the rear of the barn. The workshop itself is based within a beautiful 300-year-old barn in the Essex countryside, at the point where Essex borders Hertfordshire. More than just a workshop, the barn has been transformed into a museum depicting life in the 1950’s.
Come and visit our period-style streets, including vintage hat, clothes and accessories shops and an authentic toy shop, helping to recreate the era from which our beloved MGs came. Our 1950’s style reception and waiting room will help cast your mind back, as will the newspapers from back in the day and the surrounding 1950’s memorabilia.
If you are local to Hatfield Broad Oak, why not pop in? As we are so close to Stansted Airport, many of our clients will drop off their treasured MGs, leaving them here whilst they jet off into the sun. We would be more than happy to deliver or collect you from the airport or the local train station.
To discuss your requirements in more detail, why not get in touch or drop by? I look forward to welcoming you.
